In 2016 His Holiness the Dalai Lama will grant the teaching on the Second Chapter of Dharmakirti’s Pramanavarttika (Commentary to Dignaga’s treatise on valid cognition). The Second Chapter is dealing with a key issue important for each serious spiritual seeker: is the enlightenment, the ultimate goal of one’s spiritual quest, really possible? It validates the existence of past and future lives, as well as Buddha Shakyamuni’s  fundamental teaching on Four Noble Truth (suffering, cause of suffering, cessation and spiritual path).

The booklets with Russian, Latvian and English translation of Pramanavarttika’s Second Chapter will be distributed among participants for further study and contemplation.
